Join us for an evening of short films, conversation, and community exploring the future of fire in the Pacific Northwest. Living With Fire Short Film Festival features three short films highlighting ecological fire stewardship, forest defense movements from Warner Creek until now, cultural burning, and the people and organizations working to build healthier relationships with fire and the land.
The program includes three short films:
The Fire Practitioners (FUSEE)
Born in Fire (The Warner Creek Activists)
Cultural Burn at Smithfield Oaks (Luckiamute Watershed Council)
Following the screenings, stay for a community Q&A with filmmakers, fire practitioners, and local organizations working at the intersection of fire ecology, environmental justice, Tribal sovereignty, and community resilience.
