Hakiym Letter Writing Event

Thursday, March 5th 5:30-7:30PM at Hodgepodge

158 E 14th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401

Eugene friends, join FUSEE and the Willamette Valley Abolition Project for a powerful (and free!) night of community and action!

We’re coming together to support Hakiym, a wrongfully incarcerated Black firefighter who was imprisoned for defending himself against a racist attack by a coworker.

Learn about his case, write him a letter, and remind him that his community is still fighting for his freedom.

All materials provided. Come enjoy the cozy ambiance, food, and drinks at Hodgepodge while taking meaningful action.

Can't come to the event? You can still write him a letter! Check out this document for more info: https://tinyurl.com/SupportHakiym
