Encircle Films - Living with Fire Films and Panel

  • Art House 492 E 13th Eugene, OR, 97405 United States (map)

Cohosted with Encircle Films, and in partnership with the Long Tom Watershed Council, Oregon Dept. of Forestry, City of Eugene, Rivers to Ridges, Springfed Media, and the Traditional Ecological Inquiry Program.

There will be three short films focused on “good fire” in western Oregon – prescribed burn associations, Tribal and Indigenous-led cultural burning, and ecological prescribed burning – followed by a panel discussion with Joe Scott (Traditional Ecological Inquiry Program), Paul Gordon (Rivers to Ridges burn group), Amanda Rau (Oregon Dept. of Forestry) and my colleague Ian Appow (Fire Adapted Landscapes Coordinator).

(Note: this is not a FUSEE sponsored event)
